I want to live in the Old- Babylonian Empire of Mesopotamia Civilisation. Firstly,the Babylonian defeated and conquered a lot of countries,that is why Babylonian Empire became very strong and rich.Also they could have enough money to be armed and protected themself. Secondary,in this period,the king,Hammurabi made the earliest code called "Code of Hammurabi".He used this code to rule the people. One more thing,they invented wheels. This invention was very useful to do firming,trading,building and fighting to other countries. I think they achieved a lot and their system was very well.Their Empire was very wealthy too. So I want to live in the Old- Babylonian Empire.
The civilization I hope to live in is the Rome civilization.I think that civilization is a more comfortable place than the other three places. Rome is a good neighbor to China because of the silk road.The road can make China and Rome a better place to trade,trading can make two places happier , because of the resources.Trading is a very important in the world outside. Rome also have many good empire,such as Julio Cesar. He is a very good empire because he is very clever.He have many good tactics, he can easily win wars and he can also manage a country better than some bad empire. I am sure the place will be very safe.The solders there all needed to be very obedient.The solders also have very good weapons, they have very good swords.The soldiers need to be strong in order not to die and survive in the army.They are needed to be trained when they are very small,when they are teenagers. The only bad thing is the cause of wars,during the war with the Carthage.The Carthage is not a country good in war,but every country that fights made people died.Like the example,Rome lost 600 ships because of war. Religion played a really important role in Rome.That makes the people believe in these things too much. If so many people are only caring about religion, then the place is not going to really care about the city. The geographical factors of Rome is formed by seven hills,the hills are very famous and they can prevent the enemies from other places.They are impassable during the winter months which account for half of the year.And that is a lot of time for people in Rome to ready for the war.
Darren Tang 1C(26) I prefer to live in Old-Babylon Empire of Mesopotamia civilization because the king Nebuchadnezzar II can played a key role in delivering Babylon from its independence to conquer many other countries. That is why Old-Babylon Empire can be a very strong empire. Also, the people adopted a slavery system to maintain enough manpower for construction work and production. Therefore, slaves provided enough resource for the country when the soldiers fight outside. That is why the economy of Old-Babylon Empire can be very flourish. Finally, the king Nebuchadnezzar II was an experienced solider and general, he was capable to be the leader of Army. Under his leadership, the soldiers of this empire can always win the war. That is why the military power of Old-Babylon Empire was also very strong.

Lastly, if I have a chance to choose to live in one of the cradle of civilization to live in, I would like to live in Mesopotamia. In science, Sumerians were the first people to make good use of wheel and lastly, The Sumerians was the first people living over there and they were start building. I think The Sumerians was quite clever from their knowledge of Science.
